Our Story
JDP VIDEO began as Joel David Productions in 2011. Joel is a Director of Photography specializing in sports cinematography, TV shows, documentaries, and corporate interviews, helping producers and marketing companies worldwide meet their video production needs with the most professional, qualified video crews and equipment.
Joel was born and raised in the St. Louis, MO area. He began photography in 2000 and purchased his first video camera in 2004. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Film from the University of West Florida, he began freelancing in 2011 and has been refining his craft ever since.
Joel is passionate about many hobbies, including music production, hiking, photography, and yoga. Joel is focused on a mindful approach to the media industry with collaborations that empower the crew and producers to enjoy a better on-set experience. JDP VIDEO blends old-school video production techniques with a new-school attitude and approach.
